Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 6 pm today. You can arrive at any time during the day as there are no activities planned until this important meeting. If you're going to be late, please inform the hotel reception or your booking agent in advance. We'll be collecting your insurance details and your information at this meeting, so please ensure you have all these details to provide to your leader.
If you arrive early into the capital of Hanoi, there’s plenty to see and do. Consider booking the Hanoi Highlights Urban Adventure with an expert local guide to introduce you to the city. Start by visiting the Temple of Literature, drop into a traditional tea house, and learn the stories of the Hoa Lo Prison museum. This tour concludes at Hoan Kiem Lake, surrounded by modern office buildings and ancient Buddhist temples. Or take it at your own pace and wander the Old Quarter and admire the city’s French-colonial architecture, relax in a park, or enjoy some street food.

Spend one hour visiting the Dinh and Le temples of the Ancient Capital Hoa Lu
Transfer to your hotel for checking in, take rest and have lunch at restaurant with local specialties.
Afternoon, continue drive to Tam Coc (you might opt out for riding a bicycle) and boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “Three Caves “
Have dinner at restaurant and overnight at hotel in Ninh Binh.
After breakfast, check out your hotel then leave for Bai Dinh pagoda
Spend time to visit the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda
Continue to Van Long floating village (wetland) then take a boat trip for 2 hours rowing along this beautiful wetland of Van Long Natural Reserve
Have lunch at local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel.
Drive back to Hanoi late in the afternoon. Finish at your hotel.
8.00am Depart from your hotel in Hanoi (approximately 3 hours) to Halong City
Upon arrival, board a traditional junk and set sail around this magnificent bay and among thousands islands
We will visit to Dong Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto), Dau Go Cave
We then continue cruise to the southern part of the Bay
Visit floating village of the local fishermen, have a swim or do kayaking to further remote area of the bay.
Continue sailing back to Halong wharf, driving to your hotel in Halong for checking in. Relax and overnight in Halong.
Morning, check out your hotel and leave Halong for Hanoi.
Option 1: Visit Yen Duc village – A glimpse of rural village life.
On the way back, stopover at Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province for a short break in this typical Vietnamese agricultural village which is rich in culture and traditions. Admire the charming fields, small lanes as well as the amazing tranquility in Yen Duc village. Enjoy a water puppet show which performed by local artists.
Start cycling around the village & visit Canh Huong Pagoda to learn more about Buddhism in Vietnam. Visit a typical house in the village and talk to friendly local people. Experience the farming activities such as: harvesting and planting vegetables, fishing with the traditional method, milling and pounding rice…
Relax in the fresh air and have delicious Vietnamese lunch at the village before bidding farewell to the local family and return to your hotel in Hanoi.
Option 2: Visit Bac Ninh heritage land with historical sites, handicraft village and Quan Ho folking singing.
After 2,5 hour drive on the way back, we arrive to Bac Ninh province, you first visit to Dau Pagoda and But Thap Pagoda to learn about the history and architecture of these two famous pagodas. Being a center of the ancient Luy Lau Citadel that dates back to the second century A.D, Dau Pagoda is considered the most ancient religious structure and an initial source of Buddhism in Vietnam. But Thap Pagoda keeps the well-known statue of a thousand-handed and thousand-eyed Guanyin, which is described as a sculptural masterpiece of Vietnam.
Have lunch at local restaurant.
Continue to visit Dong Ho folk painting village, where locals practice a unique form of folk woodcut painting using natural materials, such as Diep paper made from tree bark, then mixed with powdered seashells and color from tree leaves, flowers, and even coal. You also meet a master craftsman to learn how to make the wooden block paintings.
Then pay a visit at Dinh Bang Communal House and Do Temple. Enjoy the fresh atmosphere and peaceful scenery, followed by the traditional music show Quan Ho at Thuy Dinh (Quan Ho singing recently recognized as the World Cultural Heritage).
Return to your hotel in Hanoi around 16.30
6:30am Pick up at your hotel (in the Old Quarter) or meet at our office and depart to Lao Cai (245km). It takes about 5 hours traveling the new highway to Lao Cai. The bus ride brings good chance to see beautiful scenery of the region along the way.
12:00. Arrive in Sapa. Relax and have lunch at the restaurant.
Afternoon, start a 4 hour trek to visit Lao Chai – Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai village, exploring the local ethnic minorities life, admire the spectacular natural scenery with the terraced rice fields. Visit Sapa’s ancient rock formations with engraved images big and small, the unique patterns of the ancients, as well as admire the picturesque bridge to the clouds clear over the Muong Hoa stream.
Enjoy the dinner with local specialty and your choice of spending the night at a hotel or homestay with local family.
Wake up and enjoy the fresh air and atmosphere of Sapa. Breakfast at hotel/homestay.
9:00am Exploring Cat Cat – Shin Chai village of H’mong – a colonial French discovered area and a renowned resort to officials from the early twentieth century. Arriving to Cat Cat village, visitors will be visiting the Hydro-power station, the waterfall of Cat Cat village, as well as learning about the culture, customs and unique people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, carved silver, hand forged agricultural tools.
Car pick up and return to Sapa town. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Free time to walk around or shopping.
15:00: Begin your journey back to Hanoi. End the tour in Hanoi around 20.30.
