Da Nang lays path for wheel-chair users at beach
Da Nang on Saturday inaugurated two composite pathways for wheel-chair users to traverse the beach and reach the water’s edge.
The corrosion-resistant pathways have been laid at Bien Dong Park and in front of the Holiday Beach Hotel at one of the city’s most beautiful beaches.
“Thanks to the new pathway, I can have my grandchild take me to the beach every morning on my wheelchair,” Nguyen Thi Hoi, an 80-year old woman with a large smile said at the inaugural ceremony.
