Visit the famous War Remnants Museum and learn more about Vietnam's political and military history. Continue to the Reunification Palace, once the house of Indochina Governor and later the house of the South Vietnam Government. Admire its unique location and sensational architecture by the award-winning architect, Ngo Viet Thu, and then continue on to the fascinating Notre Dame Cathedral located nearby the Reunification Palace.
Designed by French architects, and built in and shipped from France, this unique building is both a masterpiece of French architecture and a powerful symbol of colonialism. The next stop of the tour is the stunning Thien Hau Pagoda, dedicated to the worship of the Mother of Sea whom helps the Qing dynasty people cross the sea to Saigon land safely.

After lunch, you will move on to Cu Chi, located 60 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Known as the site from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations for the Tet Offensive in 1968, the area is rich with historical landmarks. Today a tranquil, pastoral setting, this area was once a "Free Target Zone" and suffered terrible destruction by bombs and mines.
A popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors, Cu Chi Tunnels are an important historical site for the resistance during the Vietnam War. Learn about this troubled period in history from a qualified guide.
Pick you up at your hotel after having breakfast and depart for Cai Be around 3 hrs driving. Upon arrival, boarding a motorized boat that takes you to the floating market and spend 1 hour there for an interaction that you’ll see no where else in the world. Next, your boat will zigzag through a maze of shadow canals to arrive at a great orchard where you can freely taste many famous tropical fruits of Vietnam and watch locals’ daily chores.
Then you will ride bicycles and roaming through a village to check out several rural shops or you can relax on a hammock for a short rest. You see how coconut candy and crispy rice cake are made here (served free with premium hot tea.) After this, you will land on a marketplace and walk around to see how and what the poor rural people of Vietnam sell.
You are encouraged to interact with the vendors and see how friendly and respectful they are. You might also buy many interesting things for very little amount of money. You spend about 1 hour here and then board your car and travel to Can Tho. Overnight at hotel 3* in Can Tho, dinner at your account.
After breakfast, board a motor boat for a long distance trip to discover the area’s largest floating marketplace…on water! Then cruising through small channels to visit a rice noodle making village, a large rice mill. Then you stop at Can Tho market and proceed to Saigon. Finish trip in Saigon at 5 p.m.
