Hu tieu Nam Vang

Hu Tieu Nam Vang, Vietnam rice noodle with pork and seafood is one of the very popular street food dishes in Vietnam, especially in the south. With the great taste of minced pork, pig organ, and other green things like bean spout, chives, this dish is such a great ideal for your meal ! simply, easily, but nutritious enough for your body's needs. 

 

Together Hu Tieu Nam Vang translates to Phnom Penh Chinese noodle soup, a dish that has roots in both Cambodian and Chinese flavors, yet it’s incredibly popular in southern Vietnam.

Different from Pho, the soup for this noodle is pork base, with minced pork, big poached shrimp, some pork's parts as liver, intestine, small poached egg... and with fried minced garlic. The vegetable to go with this noodle is also different from Phở.

 

 

Specially for this noodle that you can order two versions: dry (khô - without soup) and water (nước - with soup). For dry version, they mix the noodle with soy sauce, and serve you with separated small bowl of soup, you can eat just noodle first and taste the soup later!
